Screen Legend Elizabeth Taylor Dies at 79

銀幕傳奇伊莉莎白．泰勒與世長辭　享年七十九歲

	Elizabeth Taylor was known the world over for her exotic beauty, jet-set lifestyle, devotion to charitable causes and her numerous marriages.
	The legendary screen actress died Wednesday at age 79.
	伊莉莎白．泰勒以她那具有異國情調的美貌、奢華的生活型態、對慈善事業的投入以及多次婚姻而聞名世界。這位銀幕傳奇女星於週三逝世，享年七十九歲。
	In a statement released to the press, Taylor's publicist said that she had died "peacefully" at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
	Taylor had been hospitalized in early February with congestive heart failure.
	According to her publicist, the condition was something which "she had struggled with for many years.".
	在一份發給新聞媒體的聲明中，泰勒的公關表示她在洛杉磯的悉達斯西奈醫院「安祥」辭世。泰勒在二月初因充血性心臟衰竭而住院。她的公關人員表示，她與這樣的病症「已經奮戰了許多年」。
	"Though she had recently suffered a number of complications, her condition had stabilized and it was hoped that she would be able to return home," the statement read.
	Sadly, this was not to be.

	Taylor won a pair of Oscars during the 1960s for roles in Butterfield 8 and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
	She was perhaps more famous for simply being Elizabeth Taylor, the iconic Hollywood superstar.
	It was an image she embraced, even to the point of mocking it in advertisements for her fragrance called "White Diamonds."
