| Jane and Ed are at home. Jane is reading a book on the couch. |

Ed: Put down the book, Jane. It's time to head out!
Jane: Where are we going?
Ed: To the beach. It'll be fun!
Jane: Slow down there. What's the rush?
Ed: Come on, Jane. The beach is awesome. Think of the sun, the sand, and the sea.
Jane: It's ten o'clock at night, Eddie. The sun is gone, the sea is cold, and I'm about to fall asleep.
Ed: OK. I'll hit the hay, too. The beach will still be there for us tomorrow.
艾德：珍，把書放下。是出門的時候了！
珍：我們要去哪裡？
艾德：去海邊。會很好玩的！
珍：慢一點。怎麼那麼匆忙啊？
艾德：珍，走啦。海灘很棒喔。想想那邊的陽光、沙灘和大海。
珍：阿德，現在是晚上十點。陽光不見了、海水是冷的，而且我快要睡著了。
艾德：好吧，那我也要睡覺了。反正明天海灘還是在那裡。

| The next morning, Ed gets up early. Jane gets up a few hours later. |
| 隔天早上，艾德很早起床。珍在幾個小時後才起來。 |

Ed: You're finally up, Jane! Are you ready for the beach?
Jane: No, but I am ready for coffee. Did you make some?
Ed: No, I've been preparing for our beach adventure since dawn.
Jane: I see that. You're already wearing your swimsuit.
Ed: You better believe it. Look, I packed a beach ball, a Frisbee, some buckets, and some beach towels.
Jane: There's only one thing missing.
Ed: What's that?
Jane: Coffee. We aren't going anywhere until I drink some coffee!
艾德：珍，你終於起來了！準備好要去海邊了嗎？
珍：還沒，不過我準備好要喝咖啡了。你泡了嗎？
艾德：沒有，我一大清早就開始準備我們的海灘歷險了。
珍：我看到了，你已經穿著你的泳衣了。
艾德：一點也沒錯。你看，我打包了一顆海灘球、一個飛盤、幾個水桶和海灘巾。
珍：獨缺一樣東西。
艾德：是什麼？
珍：咖啡。沒喝到咖啡前我哪裡都不去！
