| Anthony and Rachel are walking into a busy, crowded restaurant on a Sunday morning. |

| Anthony: |
|
Whoa! It’s only 10 o’clock, and this place is packed. I sure hope it’s good. |
|
| Rachel: |
|
Count your blessings. They don’t take reservations for brunch, so it’s always first come, first served. I hope we can get a table. |
|
| Anthony: |
|
The sign says to seat yourself. How about that table by the window over there? |
|
| Rachel: |
|
Perfect! Let’s grab it. |
|
| Rachel: |
|
Excuse me, miss. Could we get some menus, please? |
|
| Server: |
|
Sure! Here you are. I’ll be back to take your order in just a moment. |
|
| Rachel: |
|
Hmm. A stack of pancakes might hit the spot this morning. |
|
| Anthony: |
|
Or maybe it’s best to go with something light, like a chicken Caesar salad. |
|
| Rachel: |
|
Well, that’s what makes brunch so nice. You can order breakfast or lunch. |
|
| Anthony: |
|
Or a little bit of both—whatever you’re in the mood for. One thing’s for sure right now, though. I need coffee! Free refills, right? |
|
| Rachel: |
|
Yep. Each cup is bottomless. |
|
| Server: |
|
Are you ready to place your order? |
|
| Rachel: |
|
We’re still deciding, but could we get two cups of coffee in the meantime? |
|
| Server: |
|
Absolutely! Do you want cream and sugar with those? |
|
| Anthony: |
|
I do, but Rachel drinks hers black. |
|
| Server: |
|
OK! Coming right up! |

| 瑞秋： |
太棒了！就坐那桌。 |
|
| 瑞秋： |
小姐，不好意思。可以給我們菜單嗎？ |
|
| 服務生： |
當然可以！這是菜單。我很快就過來幫兩位點餐。 |

| 瑞秋： |
嗯。今天早上來幾片鬆餅再好也不過了。 |
|
| 安東尼： |
或是來點清淡的，像是雞肉凱薩沙拉。 |
|
| 瑞秋： |
這就是早午餐最棒的地方，你可以點早餐，也可以點中餐。 |

| 安東尼： |
或是兩種都來一點——想吃什麼就吃什麼。不過現在可以確定的是，我得來杯咖啡！免費續杯，是吧？ |

| 瑞秋： |
沒錯，每杯都是無限暢飲。 |
|
| 服務生： |
兩位準備好點餐了嗎？ |
|
| 瑞秋： |
我們還在想，但能不能先給我們兩杯咖啡？ |
|
| 服務生： |
當然可以！兩位要加奶精和糖嗎？ |
|
| 安東尼： |
我都要加，但瑞秋喝黑咖啡。 |
|
| 服務生： |
好的，馬上來！ |
