The Wizard and the Gold Umbrella (2) |
A greedy stranger heard this story and had an idea. He went to the wizard and said, "I lost my umbrella, too!" |
The wizard showed him a beautiful gold umbrella. "Is this your umbrella?" he asked. |
The greedy stranger smiled. "Yes, that is my umbrella," he lied. "Give it to me!" |
Instead of giving him the umbrella, the wizard clapped his hands once, and it began to rain. Soon the greedy man was wet and cold. |
The wizard said, "An honest man gets more than he loses. A dishonest man gets nothing. I will not give you any umbrellas." |
