  What's Your Blood Type? (1)

Do you know what your blood type is? Most people from the West would be surprised by this question unless it came from a doctor. However, in Asia, many people believe that your blood type says a lot about your personality.
Ideas about blood types and personalities first became popular in Japan. A writer named Masahiko Nomi did a study of this in 1971. He said that people would have better relationships if they paid attention to blood types.
Science does not back up Nomi's ideas, but many people still think they're true. They think blood types can influence how people get along with others.
