		說明：
		be fed up 字面意思為「吃得太飽」，以致於看到吃的東西便覺得噁心，引申指對某人或某事「極為厭惡；忍無可忍；受不了」。

		示範句：
		I'm really fed up with how rude you are to my friends.
		我真是受夠了你對我朋友沒禮貌的態度。


		說明：
		bear 在此作動詞用，表示「承受」，而 brunt 是「（來自攻擊一方的）主要衝擊；最強烈的部份」，因此 bear/take the brunt 便指「首當其衝」的意思。

		示範句：
		Florida bore the brunt of several strong storms this year.
		在今年好幾次的強烈暴風雨中，佛羅里達皆首當其衝。


		說明：
		beef 在較早的英語中，含有「肌肉；力量」的意思，因此 beef up 便指「增強；加強」。

		示範句：
		The government spent billions on beefing up the health care system.
		政府花了數十億元來加強健保制度。

The Donkey and the Shopkeeper (1)

驢子與店主（1）

A hardworking shopkeeper led his donkey to the market to buy salt. On their way home, they had to cross a stream. The donkey was very tired, and he slipped on a rock and fell into the water.

To the donkey's surprise, his load became much lighter. The water had washed away almost all of the salt. The shopkeeper took the donkey back to the market and bought even more salt than before. This time when they reached the stream, the donkey fell into the water on purpose.

一位辛勤工作的店主趕著他的驢子去市場買鹽。在返家的途中，他們必須經過一條小溪。驢子很累了，在一顆石頭上滑了一跤，然後掉進水裡。

驢子驚訝地發現身上的負擔輕了許多。因為水幾乎把所有的鹽都沖走了。店主帶著驢子回到市場，買了比之前更多的鹽。這一次，當他們來到溪邊時，驢子就故意跌進水裡。
