    示範句:

    b. 喋喋不休地訴說、吵鬧
    示範句:
  When his sister took his toy, Nathan carried on for hours!

  I could hear people partying and carrying on in the upstairs apartment until

carry on 除單獨使用外,主要以 carry on with sth、carry on V-ing 這兩種句型出現,表示「
      繼續進行(某事物)」。
    Professor Smith carried on with his research in secret.

  The goat agreed. He placed his feet on the wall. The fox quickly climbed out and started to run away. "Come back!" cried the goat. "I can't get out of the well by myself!"
