		說明：
		check over + sth 指「檢查（某物）」。

		示範句：
		Jeremy checked over his test answers one last time before he turned the paper
		in.

			look over「快速校閱」、go over「檢查」、read over「檢視」
		My boss said he would read over the report later this afternoon.
		我老闆說今天下午晚點他會檢視這份報告。


		說明：
		check up on 常用在「調查」人的背景、行為等，以及事情是否屬實或有沒有問題。

		The manager checked up on her new employee to make sure he was doing his
		job well.
		那個主管調查她的新員工以確定他有做好工作。

		My parents came to my university to check up on how I was doing.
		我父母到我就讀的大學來看看我過得怎麼樣。

			check on/over「調查；檢查」

When the master saw the pig run away, he was angry. "You useless dog!" he shouted. "What will my family eat tonight?"

The dog was sad. "Master," he said, "it is not my fault that I'm old. For many years, I've helped you feed your family. Am I worth nothing to you now?"

The master realized that he was wrong. "You're right," he said. "I shouldn't blame you for being old. I should praise you for all your years of service."

主人看到豬溜走非常生氣。他大叫：「你這隻沒用的狗！我的家人今天晚上要吃什麼？」

老狗很難過，牠說：「主人，我老了不是我的錯，這麼多年來，我幫助你讓家人過活，而我現在對你一點價值都沒有嗎？」

主人知道自己錯了，他說：「你說得對，我不該因為你老而責怪你，我應該讚美你這些年來的付出。」
