用於詢問某事物的所在位置，提問前通常會用 excuse me、I'm sorry、pardon me 等來引起對方注意、或為叨擾對方而表達歉意，此為禮貌性的用法。
Excuse me, where is the shuttle bus to the city?
不好意思，請問往市區的接駁公車在哪裡？
Excuse me, where are the luggage carts?
不好意思，請問行李推車在哪裡？
I'm sorry, where is the China Airlines counter?
抱歉，請問中華航空的櫃台在哪裡？
Pardon me, where is the VIP lounge for business travelers?

出國旅行多半大包小包，這時若有行李推車（baggage/luggage cart）就方便多了。這裡還有一些與行李有關的英文說法可以學起來：

anytime 是回應別人道謝時的用語，常與 forget it、forget about it 合用，比方說：
A: Thank you very much!
真的很謝謝你！
B: Hey, anytime. Forget it.
不客氣啦，不用放在心上。

No sweat. 小意思。
Don't mention it. 不足掛齒。
No problem. 沒問題。
★你知道嗎？．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．．
no problem 主要有兩個意思，一是字面意思的「沒問題」，主要用於回應別人的請求；另一則是指「不用客氣」。在口語中也會說成 problemo，一般是不會用在書寫中。另外 de nada 也用來表示「沒什麼」，其字面意思就是 of nothing。
附帶一提，sure 和 you bet 原來的意思都指「當然」，也可用來回應他人的道謝，這時可解作「不謝；不敢當」。

You're welcome. 不客氣。
My pleasure. 我的榮幸。

字首 ad- 在拉丁文中為表方向的介系詞，可表示 to、toward 或 near 的意思。ad- 與字根或其他字結合後，原本表示方向的意思多半消失，而帶有強調的意思，其字義主要是根據字根的意思而定。

adore

熱愛；崇拜
Helen adores her new puppy and brings it everywhere she goes.
