說到 believe it or not，美國人通常會聯想到知名漫畫家 Robert Ripley，一九一八年起他在報紙上發表了一系列以 Believe It or Not 命名的漫畫打響知名度，漫畫內容盡是些不可思議的事件，現在世界各地還有他的博物館收集一些奇人軼事喔！
