要人冷靜一下、放輕鬆點時的用語。chill out 也可以用來指什麼事情都不做，單純放鬆的狀態。
   
I know you have a paper due and your computer's broken, but chill out. We can fix it.
  我知道你明天有報告要交而且電腦壞了，但是放輕鬆。我們會把它修好的。
   
After the big test, Julie just wanted to go home and chill out.
  大考結束後，茱莉只想回家好好放鬆一下。

大家有沒有發現光是「放輕鬆」這個說法就有很多種變化呢？沒錯！印象中美國人的時間似乎都比較舒緩，遇到狀況時通常會要你先冷靜下來，畢竟緊張的情緒除了會亂了腳步，也沒有實質上的幫助。所以下次遇到問題的時候可別緊張，take a chill pill！
