另一個鼓勵人的口語 go for broke 意思和 go for it 大同小異，不過還有放手一搏的意思。本來 go for broke 指的是賭博時押下全部的財產為賭注，引申有「注入全部心血以完成目標」的意思。另外，英文中有一個類似的用法 go overboard，就是用來指「輕率決定、魯莽行動」的意思，兩者之間，還是有所差別的。
