Popsicle（商標名）是一種只含水、糖和色素的冰棒，let's blow this Popsicle stand 最早的用法可能是 let's blow this joint， 意思是炸掉這個廉價酒吧，然後到比較好玩的地方。後來又出現了許多其他說法，如：let's blow this firetrap（容易失火或失火不易逃生的地方）、let's blow this popcorn stand（爆米花攤位）等等。至於 Popsicle stand 可能是從 pop stand 衍生而來，在美國有些地方會稱販售汽水的攤位為 pop stand。
