    • to cry over spilled milk 無濟於事；懊悔也於事無補了
    這句成語字面上的意思是「為灑翻的牛奶嚎啕大哭」，引申為「為了無法挽回的事感到懊悔」。有時也會只用 spilt milk 表示「覆水難收」。
    I dented my car but there's no point in crying over spilled milk.
