    Leon's mom wants him to tidy up his toys and sit down for dinner.

    Mom: Leon, dinner is ready! Please pick up your Legos and cars and put them in your toy box. 媽媽： 李昂，晚餐好了！請收好你的樂高積木和玩具車，放回你的玩具箱。
    Leon: But Mom, I'm not hungry and I want to finish building my spaceship. Just one more minute... please? 李昂： 但是媽媽，我不餓，我想蓋完我的太空船。再一分鐘就好，拜託？
    Mom: Leon, you can finish your spaceship after dinner. 媽媽： 李昂，你可以晚飯後再完成你的太空船。
    Leon: Can Captain Toughguy, my action figure, come to dinner too? He has been very busy fighting giant monsters. I think he is really hungry. 李昂： 我的人形玩偶，硬漢隊長，也可以一起吃晚飯嗎？他一直忙著和巨獸戰鬥。我想他一定很餓。
    Mom: Sure, as long as you ask Captain Toughguy not to play with your food. Last night Barbie and your robot made a big mess. 媽媽： 當然，只要你叫硬漢隊長別玩你的食物。昨天晚上芭比娃娃和你的機器人弄得一團亂。
    　Dialogue 2.
    Leon and Mom have finished dinner and are in the living room.
    李昂和媽媽吃完晚餐後一起在客廳。
    Leon: Mom, will you play with me? 李昂： 媽媽，妳和我玩，好嗎？
    Mom: OK. Can I play with your robot? 媽媽： 好的。我可以玩你的機器人嗎？
    Leon: Uh... no. I want the robot. 李昂： 呃，不行。我要機器人。
    Mom: Can I play with Barbie? 媽媽： 我可以玩你的芭比嗎？
    Leon: Well . . . no. Barbie is going to be in the spaceship. 李昂： 呃，不行。芭比要待在太空船裡。
